Welcome to 2026!! As the year starts to get into full swing, startups are posting tons of jobs. In the past week alone, the startups we track posted 800+ new roles, which is up considerably from any week in December. In this edition, I also wanted to share relevant links that people shared in variations of 2025 Wrapped editions that I found valuable.

Lenny’s Newsletter

The first few links I want to share come courtesy of Lenny Rachitsky’s Substack, which has over 1 million subscribers. Here are a few links he shared in his 2025 Wrapped, with some of my commentary:

An AI Glossary — Good, simple explantations of common AI-related terms.
What People Are Vibe Coding — Carb counters, eyelash trackers, budget tools, family photos turned into videos, chore apps for kids, and more. It is good to reflect on any aspect of your or a loved one’s life that you could relatively easily improve with an AI-coded tool. As an example, for Christmas this year, I made my mom a website that uses an OpenAI API on top of her recipes, including her Pinterest pins, New York Times recipe box, and online recipes from her favorite chefs. I plan to use the tool for myself as well.

Teli Labs’ Lists

We are continuing to make lists that we hope are helpful. Here are two that were released yesterday:

Startup Jobs Weekly (Jan 12th) — This is the first edition of what will likely be weekly posts covering all the jobs posted on Teli Labs’ startup job board (features 600+ top, VC-backed startups) over the past seven days. This week, there were almost 800 new jobs posted. We’ve organized them by role category (there are 11, including Growth, Marketing, Engineering, Ops, and more).
200+ Top Series A Startups — This is the first installment of a multi-part series showcasing thousands of top startups organized by funding stage. We’re starting with Series A companies, sharing quick 5-10 word descriptions, Series A raise amounts, employee counts, and industry tags for each. All companies are listed alphabetically for easy reference.
